DR. AJAY AJMANI — MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Ajay Ajmani received his undergraduate degree from University of Delhi in India and his medical diploma from the Armed Forces Medical School in Pune, India. Dr. Ajmani completed his internal medicine and pediatrics combined residency at the Hurley Medical Center in Flint Michigan. He participated in postgraduate fellowship program in Rheumatology, Allergy and Rheumatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been practicing medicine for over 25 years.
Dr. Ajmani initially established his solo practice in the historic district of Sanford, NC in 1997 where he provides Rheumatology, Allergy and Primary care for both adults and children. He is acknowledged as an expert in Rheumatology, Allergy and Skin Disorders; Cosmetic Laser Applications, Laser vein treatment & removal; Cosmeceuticals Development and Compounding. He also performs Allergy skin testing, Blood Allergy Testing, Bone Densitometry, Chemical Sensitivity testing, ECG, EMG/NCS, Employment Physicals, Event Monitor Study, General Medicine, Immunizations, IV therapy, Joint Aspirations & Injections.
 

Rebecca is our Physician's Assistant. She attended Meredith College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then went on to Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA to receive a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant studies degree. Rebecca started her career in urgent care medicine and has continued this path while also having experience in dermatology. She is a board certified Physician Assistant, a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Certification of Physician Assistants. Rebecca is confident in her experience with diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions as well as cosmetic procedures involving many different types of lasers and injections.

Kandice graduated from the International Institute of Cosmetology in 2004. She joined Studio EM for two years where she continued the art of cosmetology. After gaining quality experience she then moved on to perform wedding hair and makeup for five years. Kandice considers herself to be fashion savvy, and keeps herself abreast of the latest trends for the hair and makeup scene. Kandice’s expertise is well received at The Skin Institute. Kandice is a Raleigh, NC native where she and her husband along with their Yorkie Poodle currently live. She loves reading mystery novels and enjoys going to the movies with her friends

DAPHNE BROWN — REGISTERED NURSE

Daphne Brown, RN brings to our practice over twenty years of nursing experience. Daphne specializes in medical skin care. She works closely with her Medical Director and Physician Assistant to consult with you and to develop a plan specific to your needs and budget. Her experience includes but is not limited to dermatological skin problems such as acne, Rosacea, hyper pigmentation and acne scars. Her certificates include medical skin care treatments, photo facials, laser hair removal, skin tightening, as well as facial fillers and Botox Cosmetic injections. We are happy to be able to provide to you with her clinical expertise, interpersonal skills and energy.
